We have been busy though, two weeks ago Addison and I made homemade popsicles because of all the heat. The next day when they were ready I let the kids loose on them outside. The pictures speak for themselves.
Needless to say this kid tore up the popsicle like he does any other food.
Then what does every good mom do after her kids are covered in red sticky goo, she lets them loose on the sprinkler and puts them in a pool in the front yard.
Addison discoverd that if you hold the noodle under the water long enough that water will fill it up and you can blow it out through one hole while your mother is on the other end of it getting wet.
The next day the kids and I were playing in the play room while Chad played on the piano. Christian loves this kitchen that Addison got for Christmas last year.
Addison loves to play on the piano with her daddy. Chad has gotten pretty good over the past couple years, Addison's favorite is when he plays the song from Tangled. She runs around the room singing the song at the top of her lungs.
I am so blessed to have a husband that is so passionate about what our kids learn. I love to sit and watch them learn together.
Finally last week was vacation bible school at our church and by the time I got home from a morning spent with eight 3-4 year olds I was pooped. Then on Thursday evening as I was getting the kids out of their bath I discoved nits and lice in both Addison and Christian's hair (as well as my hair later on). I did not take any pictures because this NOT something I want to remember at all, except for the fact Christian fell asleep with a green shower cap on his head and olice oil in his hair.
I must give props to my amazing husband again because while I was freaking out and sanitizing everything he spent two hours combing through Addison's hair and picking our every single nit and live lice.
It has to be one of the worst experiences of my life. I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
